Carers Organisations can offer help and support to carers on a wide range of issues including: Telephone advice and support, Respite care, Welfare benefits and advice, Support Services, Employability. A carer is anyone who looks after a relative, friend or partner who cannot manage without their help. This may be because of illness, frailty or disability. They may or may not live in the same house.
