Barmulloch Community Development Company are a registered Charity operating in the Ward 17 and surrounding areas of North East Glasgow. We provide facilities locally in Bamulloch and support over 40 groups, services and partners. We operate our own program as well as partnership work with many organisations. Activities at BCDC include - Yoga, Health and wellbeing, easy exercise, Make It creative group, Computer/ IT skills development and access to Glasgow Kelvin College educational courses and support. We also host many community groups throughout the whole week in our premises. The BCDC Hub and spoke model has supported local people, social enterprise and community groups to increase capacity and take over various community assets within Glasgow. We also provide private functions for local community and surrounding areas in our facilities and manage the Community in the park event each year which is the largest community event in Barmulloch calendar. We have strong partnerships with various services including colleges, Housing, Glasgow Helps and other partners. BCDC directly support the community with energy vouchers, Food Support, Reduced energy use electrical appliance support, IT access and other vital support throughout the covid, energy and food crisis. Our mission - To enable communities and organisations in ward 17 and surrounding areas, to improve social, well-being and economic standards.
